Default BMW, Porsche and Audi guys had a good time

The ten of us that instructed and 3 grid guys from the local German car clubs had a good time on Thursday baking in the sun with you. I am glad the weather improved for the remainder of the weekend.

Each of us (except the guy instructing in the PT Cruiser) was impressed by the SRT cars. I instructed a guy in a SRT 4. He asked me to drive for a few laps and I was really impressed at the power (he said 285 hp) and the general handling (coils). It has been sometime since I drove a frontwheel drive car on a regular basis so I was a little loose entering the corners (must get on throttle earlier in FWD). I have only been in rental Neons and the SRTs are on entirely different levels of performance and quality. Everything was great except the brakes. After just 4 laps, the front brakes billowed smoke when we stopped to switch drivers.

Things were a little rocky to start the morning but Brian jumped in like the pro he is and got things going and on schedule. Great job Brian, Dale and everyone involved. I would be happy to instruct at any of your events.

Not a problem

I'll post the small resolution ones (usually 800 x whatever in pixels) and send you a PM with a link directing you to the pics.

I've gotten word that i'll have access to my pics tonight. Hopefully the pans of you all going by came out decent or I'll be miffed

Stay tuned...

Evan took me for a ride in his M3. That was insane. We only got 4 or 5 laps in before the tires gave up though. If you see this Evan, awesome ride!

What number were you in the Beemer? I think there was two of them. One had
the hood popped for a while.

You guys were awesome! A big thanks goes out to Chris Loveless (?) for his instruction and patience as I think the heat overcooked my brain and the car

The ride in that stock Mini was insane too

You need glasses . Hood->.pop->black flag = "woops"

It popped in front of me as they hit the curbing/apron! It was pretty sweet actually . Corner worker called it in.

that turn also netted some cool entry drifts from some of the other drivers.
