We'll do the public reveal later today, after the paid participants have had a chance to see their email.

The last thing we want is for paid participants to hear about this second-hand, they are worth so much more than that to us.

Regards,
Dale

I don't mind the location, but I don't like the name change of the event at all. I dont really want to drive 15 hours just to go to some track, I want to go to the SRT/Mopar Nationals. Why the name change anyways? If you had to change the name, Why not something like "SRToc/All Mopar Nationals" or something along those lines?..... Mopars At The Track just doesn't have any excitement to it, there are Mopars at every track.

It will make more sense to you later on.

The cop-out answer though, Ever since Greg Ledet, the original organizer for the SRT Nationals, got himself arrested for fraud, we've been behind the eightball with that name.

It's time for a fresh start, and that begins with the new name.

SRToc is owned by Ekool, we can't just steal names that we like That's like using "SRT" and "Mopar" without express written permission. It just leads to bad things...

Hrm... Ok. I'm ok with the location. Date change sucks a bit... Name change, who really cares - but it would be interesting to hear the real reason.

Are we still expecting the same support from the vendors as last year?

Mopar / Chrysler representation?

Crap dude, this is like the next to last worst thing there could be ( besides it being canceled) ....... I've had leave in for Months now just to get the time off ...... I probably can't change it now, We've been told at work they will not accept any more leave slips for May-August.......

And the name change, well it must be DCX behind it some how... and honestly I think it lessens our "National meet" into what most of us go to locally every year.... Not that it is, that is just what it sounds like. Isn't Mopar just as copyrighted as SRT?

I also can't wait to hear the excuses why people don't want to go to Tennessee...... But remember "anythings better than Kansas"

Hopefully I can beg and grovel at work........ I'll probebly have to work every weekend till July instead of haveing a few off.

We're working on the rescheduling with them. The date change actually helps the motorsports side of things, we are no longer scheduled on top of a World Challenge race.

The benefits are cumulative.
