If you can get some feedback from the other locals who would be willing to help, then it may be easier to get the commitment from those still on the fence.
The fun of the eevent will be to make it to all 3 (drag, road, auto-x) even if you don't want to compete in all 3. The line of cars going down the highway and pulling into an event is half (ok...10%) of the fun.
I talked to Matt today and he will go, Kolin I still need to get ahold of but that shouldn't be an issue. It'll be a good chance for him to break out his SRT4. There's a couple other locals I'll talk to also.

You're going to have a blast. This will be the smallest but best Nats yet!
How many of our country's problems could be solved – and solved quickly – if politicians were more worried about what is good for our country rather than how to protect their positions of power?
Shortest drive yet! Be like the old days when we'd have get togethers.
True, just like the old days when ATL sported the FIRST Nationals That was a fun trip.
I more than likely not do the road course, but I'll be more than happy to shoot videos for everyone. Working on getting a New HD camera in a few weeks.
Having HD Nationals would be killer.
Plus it was the fastest trip to ATL. From Winston-Salem, NC to ATL in just over 3 hours
if the road course is at least 10 people then I'll be going. I won't be in the first 10 though. I still have to buy a helmet and fix some other parts on my car.
I've never been to nats so I was wondering if any instruction will be offered or are we out there on our own. It will be my 2nd time on a course so I could use any help
^ from my understanding, the road course is limited to just ten cars total, with no more than 3 on the track at any one time. It is basically a group of guys renting the track for the day, to have fun/learn. That is the reason it costs $175 for the road course. It is to cover the cost of the track rental.
oh damn. It seems like the slots will fill up soon before I get my money right. I figured that because it said at least that it didn't mean there was a cap. Thanks for letting me know though
only 10 people.....damn that sucks I have at least 3 people not including myself that are down for the road course. either way I am going to be at the nationals this year. its only a 5 hour drive for me. I am sure i can get a few of the jacksonville crew to go with.
