They used to have "Foxy Boxing" at a club where I lived in CT. Girls in bikini's duking it out for the ~$30 prize and the admiration of the drooling fans.

Jimmy, I want to do it again, but I dont know for sure if Ill be able to make it. I probably wont know for sure till June, so I doubt that helps much.

BTW, whats the deal with the pt steelies price? I was going to order some and they went up like $20-$25.

Yeah, the last guy ordered a pair, and we got them in and price went up about $25 through mopar. So that guy bought them below cost, but obviously we corrected the issue.

I'm guessing at the new price, there won't be much call for them.

Just a quick idea... why not rent the track for the day to do AutoX and Road course.

Half the day run the autoX on the road course, then clear the cones for road course. I'm guessing at that point you may have a few last minute participants wanting to pay also.

^ I'm guessing the reason for the autoX event being at AMS is that it is being hosted by the soloatlanta folks...at one of there normal events. That means no one has to track down a boat load of cones, timing lights, and whatever other logistics it takes to co-ordinate an autoX event.

Yeah, renting cones, timing lights, installing lights at the track so we can run all night, and hiring a timing and scoring crew makes it a lot easier to piggyback with a well established National level SCCA Region.

Plus, when you figure in the cost of insurance, medical people, ambulance, and other requirements when you put a timer on the course....

Plus, when you figure that a roadcourse isn't overly wide, and a car with a wheel off the pavement twice is removed from the facility, it would be a game of attrition (last man standing).

This isn't a normal autocross we're talking about. We rent extra lights for the already lighted parking lot. It's a 50+ second course. It's 4 timed runs, and then fun runs until everyone falls asleep....

Of course, the offer still stands, I'll refund the entry fee of anyone that can beat Jesse on raw time driving a fendered car or truck.
