Ok guys after putting this off for about a month to 2 months now. I finally have the information for you guys.
Where: ATL Dragway in Commerce GA.
When: Friday July 11th, 2008. Gates open at 5:00 pm. and runs to 11:30pm. Tech-in ends at 9:00 IIRC.
Cost: $25 to race. $10 to spectate
This is basically just a test and tune night for before the road course event on Saturday, we will not have the track to ourselves because renting it out will be too expensive and commitment minimal. I Plan to be there at gate opening and will have an area for us picked out. Please try to get there at 5:00pm. Just look for the Red SRT-4 With Black Commemorative Edition stripes.
If anything it will be a time for us to hang out and race each other.
If you plan to stay in town for the remaining portion of the event then you will need to accomodate your own hotel rooms which me, Dale, and Dunnie may be able to help out in locating one. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
Directions: * Heading South on I-85

The autoX will be run through/with the local Atlanta region SCCA...So unless for some reason they cancel whatever number points event it is, I'm sure it will still be run.
It should open two weeks before the event. Preregistration will be required.
People unsure of what class to place themselves in probably are new enough to autocross that they should sign up for Novice, where class doesn't matter and instruction is given.

Do you guys have loaner helmets or should I stop putting it off and actually buy one?
Likely no loaners, but you could probably borrow one from another competitor...just get it back to them in staging before their next run....
are you going to get some drag racing time in so you dont run another 13.2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!

It took a long time to work my way up to a 13.2 (and make it still look like I was trying)!
You don't want me to dominate every part of an event, do you?
I need a list of People participating in the Drag Racing and the Autocross.
Also, we need to discuss if we are going to want to grill out at the Road Course for lunch or if we all are just going to bring our own food and take care of ourselves. If we want to grill i need to clear it with the track And figure out how and the hell I'm going to get a grill down there. I also will need a list of people who will be willing to help out and supply drinks for lunch, chips plates ect.
Also, I have been keeping a CLOSE eye on the weather here in Georgia.
And it is not boading well for the drag races on Friday. But that can all change. Commerce Will shut the track down on Friday if it rains. So those of you coming down on Friday shoot me a PM with your cell numbers and I will keep y'all up to date on Friday. I will call the track at 2:30 Friday afternoon to see the status on it.
Should it rain on Friday, I will arrange a meeting spot and time for us all And we will ride down to Talladega early to drink and be merry.
I'm hoping that the weather will hold out for us. Rain or shine the Roadcourse is on, so you may get more experience in the rain.
Get me the info guys this is getting close to the Date.
Hey dudes, planning to be there on Friday night and possibly on Saturday to hang out and support. I was wondering if anyone knew where you can get some 100+ octane to run the beast in HOM? I haven't seen any stations that sell any in the area. I'm over in the Roswell area. Thanks!
