Moving Car Rules and Regulations to the top of the road course page might be a good idea, and place the file links with it. Considering they're required documentation it'd be worth mentioning them immediately instead addressing it in the middle and putting the links at the very bottom. I missed them for last years not noticing them under the course map and aerial picture.
Well, there is the list of links near the top that take you to the lower parts. But it is a long page, by far the biggest on the site. I've never liked that about it. I'll give some thought to how it might be broken up, rearranged, and improved.
Does the site look okay with IE 7? I don't have it to test with, but I checked it against IE 6, Netscape 7.2, and Firefox 1.

I didn't realize the bulleted items were links. I never cursored over top of them. Maybe just put a header there that says 'Links' then?
Can you define the width of the black text area as percentage of screen width instead of fixed width? Seems to me HTML 2.0 used to let you. I don't think it would mess with your layout too badly. That'd help shorten the page up somewhat. I've looked at it on a a 19" 1280x1024 res monitor and a 15" 1024x768 laptop and in both cases it seems the right portion of the page is a bit underutilized, almost half on the 1280x1024.
Remove Kustomatix from the sponsor/vendor list imeadiately if not sooner. The rest looks great guys.
x2
Dale, he is being investigated by the feds. Not a good idea to have him onboard AT ALL, especially with being $41k in scams so far....
Only other issue I see in the vendor midway page is that you guys have two Woodhouse sponsor banners. not sure if that was on purpose or not but just pointing it out.
Gallery looks nice . It would be nice to have a courtesy mention to me or other photogs that provided pics so I have proof to add in my photog portfolio that I'm trying to get together. If there were others who submitted I'm sure they would too
Site looks a zillion times better than it ever has! Great work to the designers of this one! It makes it much more inticing to those who have never been but now have soemthing visually to really make them want to join in on the fun!

Thanks for the kudos. Dale told me I could just steal your and Castrol's photos. j/k I think all the ones I used are either yours or DodgeZ's (Kevin's). How would you like them credited?
Nothing fancy or screams for any attention. Just something along the bottom (or wherever you see fit since your the designer) would be fine with me that gives us some kind of recognition. My real full name is Kenny Wilson.
Dale had PM'd me for permission on the pics but I told him I didn't mind as long as I was mentioned. He never got back with me as I'm sure he's been too busy. I'm trying to build up some kind of portfolio to be able to present to other venues local to me.
Thanks for oiing that and again, AWESOME job on this years site. Makes the other years look like candyland
There was no agreement to provide credits to photographers who submitted images, they should be watermarked by the original photographers. If Dave gets time to do the credit work for the photographers, that's good, but I won't be hassling volunteers over something like that.
Kustomatix was vouched for by GDflys, anyone who has a problem with them should talk to him... Kustomatix provided an AEM UEGO and a bunch of other stuff, but I never saw it at the event...
As you can tell, I'm in a troublemaking mood today because things are going exceptionally well with the planning for the 2007 event and we need more drama.
Oh yeah, Woodhouse is listed twice because they were a sponsor of the event by providing Brian Smith and the racecars, and promised to become a vendor as well, even though that never actually worked out. Maybe it will for the 2007 event.
Looking back, 2006 wasn't all that bad, there was only one deadbeat vendor (kustomatix) and just a few didn't make it out to the event.
Thanks for all the positive feedback on the website, it's definately a lot further along than we were this early in the 2006 planning. And it's not done yet...
Be sure to thank David and the SDAC for making the website programming possible, and Larry (Lulu) and Marlon (Hybridkid) and Enrique (Fastattack) for making the server and related stuff possible. Great volunteers make great things happen.

Wow I have to look around the house and find that gauge I could use it. Now back to getting them removed
There are some photo credits at the bottom of the pages, as well. I found that I used a couple of photos from one other individual, so I've sent a message to make sure he doesn't mind and find out how he wants to be credited.
