Default 2007 Nationals Hotel

We are returning to the same hotel we used last year, The Ramada Inn Topeka.

Contact info is on the SRT/ Modern Mopar Nationals website at

http://ModernMoparNationals.org

Rooms are $75 per night, or $135 if you want a suite.

The group code is "SRT Nationals", I wouldn't be surprised if they don't recognize it right away as we have just confirmed the booking.

The hotel sold out last year....

See you in Topeka!
Dale

Woohoo, more Ramada!!

For those that didn't go last year, this isn't your typical Ramada.....

And the parking lot gets fun. This is just the front of the building!

lol yea you guys snored pretty dang loud thats for sure. I am not sure if I will be able to go in 07....too early to tell. I dont see myself driving that far by myself. It would be ok driving with a group or even just one other car, but alone sucks. I may just end up getting car shipped up there....race it....then ship it back..will just fly both ways More expensive yes, but not having to spend all those hours in the car alone I think its worth it

Back on topic this is an excellent hotel....the only complaint that I have is the fact that the A/C system didnt work worth a damn. Several people complained and only a handful were able to be moved to lower floors to get cooler rooms. I sure hope they have the A/C system fixed for next year!

Awesome hotel....

I was on the 8th floor and my room was cool enough (in the 70's I figure...), even when it was 116 outside.

Of course when it is 116 outside, anything below 90 feels like a cool breeze.

Hell no i look forward to the drive!! Nothing like the open road and a couple of states between you and the red X on the map. This year we made it from The Dalles Oregon to Fremont Nebraska in 21 hours straight. This year we do it in 19!!! he he he Road trips are part of the reason i love cars, the joy of driving.

Yes I love driving too....I drive over an hour to work every day! LoL Just wouldnt be so bad if someone was riding with me or if someone actually drove along side of me. Its like pulling teeth to get people to go to the next state down here. Hell I lived in a tent for a long time and still managed to gather enough money to make it there and hang out. Even though I didnt participate I still had the pleasure to meet Dale. Haha I remember walking with dunnie and saying "where is dale at?" Dunnie points and says "umm he is walking right beside you" LOL

They have a yummy breakfast and a kickass bar in the basement. One of my roommates kept complaining about snoring but if he would just get drunk every night like the rest of us he would have been fine.

Ya can say that again!! For me the tradition of big ass beers started on burbon street at the 2005 Nats and last year was no dissapointment. I really like the last call too.

"You guys gotta go we are closing. How many beers do you want for the road?"

LoL I drink liquor more than beer. When I drink beer for some reason I get really bad gas and makes my stomach act all up...didnt want to feel miserable when I drove so far to enjoy myself. I will make sure to bring plenty of liquor for next year
