Let me be the first to say thank you to all who participated and came out to the events. I know everyone had a blast and the SRT Engineers enjoyed themselves as well.
All three events went extremely well. And we have been invited back to Little Talladega next year.
I want to extend a personal Thank you to Doug Wind, Dunnie Morgan for helping organize the event; Dale Seeley for Organizing the Auto X, and all of the SRT Engineers for their support and helping out at the Road Course giving instructions and taking people for rides.
A few of the Participants, the engineers and myself have already began talking about next years event so keep a close eye on this forum over the next couple of months.
the hemi dog was repo'ed by Gargoile before they left for the airport. Thank you for being part of the team that made one of my wishes come true and i look forward to next year.
The road course was awesome, atmosphere was laid back and most importantly we were all safe/well behaved on track despite the several n00bs.
As for the autox....that was by far the most interesting one ive been to....never been to autox at........night! Course looked tough and it required good technique to master. Eric H definitely put on a good showing in the ACR
i wanna thank the SRt crew in attendance...without you guys there would be no fun Chrysler vehicles to salivate over.
I wanna thank all of you who met me for the first time for being so welcoming and easy going. Its different from sitting on here chit chatting back and forth
Weston, thanks for the use of the car...hope you get those leaks fixed and the few other things we talked about. next year should be fun for you now that you kinda figured out what needs improving on the car and your driving was very commendable for a first timer. Hope you had fun and i know Dustin will be dreaming about this weekend for a while to come
Dale....i love ya mang but no more fords
Dunnie/son...good to see you guys as always
Eric (Gargoile)...thanks alot! hope you had a good time

Devon C............oh noooes its an Evo jfwy i had a blast! thanks mang!
Oh, and everyone BOW DOWN to the 85mph HEMI DOG That could
Opps...better update my thread.
Thanks for all the work you did in organizing everything Bryan. I had a blast at the road course. I'm still upset that I let the rain scare me away from the drags.
Thanks Doug for riding with me, and helping me locate the line, and learn how to drive a road course. Too bad I had those fitment issues with your car, I was really looking forward to a few laps around the track in your car.
Thanks to the SRT guys for letting me drool all over the cars you brought down. I was very impressed with the look of the Caliber, aside from the red/orange paint. It looked very good going around the track and autoX, Thanks for the ride in the Challenger, that car is awesome!
The only think left, is for me to beg. Did anyone get any pics of me running around the track???
Sorry I wasn't able to come. It was just too close to the SDAC event this year. Erich gets around, though; he drove an SRT4 Caliber on the road course at SDAC two weeks ago.
Gummybears? I saw her on TV a while back, BTW.

What do people think about us teaming up with the SDAC guys for 2009 in Cincinnati? SDAC/SRT Nationals.
Stimac was at my house last night dropping off my trailer and we talked about it. They will have a car show and drag racing. We could split costs. Also, if we want an autocross, we SRT Nats guys could organize that.

sounds like a good idea....looking forward to next year
Well I finally made it back to Florida after stopping back in Augusta, GA for a few days and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone!!!! I was hoping it'd be worth my while to drive the 3 hours each way just for the day and it definitely was!
A big thanks for the ride in the Caliber Erich! It was definitely nice to see what the car can do in the right setting even without some of the standard options. Next year I'll have to hang around longer and hope that I can sample several of the vehicles you guys may bring down.
I definitely had a blast and should've just stayed the night but I'll definitely plan ahead for next year and stay for the whole event!
Hopefully Dan & I can get some more guys from FL to come up. And on top of that maybe I'll be able to bring a car or two.

Will SDAC be thinking about offering a road course as well and will it be open to the SRT guys?
The autocross would be fun and personally I liked the one at Atlanta Motor Speedway because there was a mix of cars at the event. I'm sure a SDAC/SRT event would draw a bigger crowd than just the SRT Nats guys in attendance this year. Otherwise if we piggybacked on an event or got an SCCA chapter to host an event that week/weekend it would be just as fun I'm sure. Of course I know nothing of the planning or logistics but I don't see any problems with it.
Maybe with it being closer to Michigan a few extra Srt vehicles or engineers would want to make the trip down.
I had a blast. Thanks to the organizers for making this happen.

It's unfortunate that we should have to consider this, but after the turnout of this years, I think that is a great idea. Although, I liked the idea of the proving grounds myself.
It would be great to see some other SRT's other than 4's too. I'm disappointed the only non neon SRT cars were the cars brought down from MI. What can we do to start having a bigger turnout from those guys? Even if each number (6, 8, 10) had the same showing as the 4's this year, then it could be a fairly good sized event.
