Default Grommet For Hardpipe

Hey guys,

I was wondering if you sell the grommet for the intercooler piping Ambient Air Temp sensor. I seemed to have misplaced mine while the pipe was off the car. Its the grommet that slides in the hole to hold the sensor in place. Hopefully you sell them individually. Can i get a price shipped? Thanks.

Well here's the deal....

1) Mopar didn't offer it...

2) I normally recommend one from the local parts stores that KINDA fits..

BUT WAIT!!!

Thanks to Dansrt4 and one of his local parts guys they found a MOPAR unit that works!!!

4268295 grommet $2.26 + shipping

Just been waiting for someone to ask!!!!

He's been using it since april w/ no leaking problems so I think it's safe to say this will work for you!!!

That is great news. From what I've seen, I think the Dodge Charger uses the same grommet for their sensor. Could be wrong though. Is this that sensor grommet?

Mechanically, these two vehicles are the same and share the same powertrains....also ad Magnum and Challenger to the list

Say it with me now... "Carry-over"..... an engineer's favorite word.

Its still working on mine with great results guys. Id say it was me but it was the guy at the dealorship that found it. This was the same guy i had to fill him on on the big secret that there was a TPS fix so it was really suprising when he called me back saying he found something.

Yeah, I wouldn't have thought to check on these other vehicles.. but honestly.. when I worked in parts it would have been just as easy to sort through parts shelves until I found something that MAY work. lol

I need this grommet and the air intake temp sensor, the female and male side, to rewire it back in. Please send paypal request to polk5295@hotmail.com. Will be shipped to central FL.

Thank you,
Andy
