I looked through the mopar possibilities and didn't see any offerings of manual racks for 2nd gen or pt cruiser, so oem is out.

Bump for a good idea...

This may be a stupid question but... can all the components for the A/C be removed without "opening" the system?

Not really, as you need to remove the compressor and lines, and there'd be no way to do that w/o disconnecting the evaporator.

S&P,

My buddy put a Dodge Shadow manual rack in a 1st Gen Neon. Maybe that will cross over to a 2nd Gen.

My A/C delete is on the way.

Weight redux is my friend. F a bunch of Global Warming.

Marion,
If you taking the wieght out have you thought about air bag deletes? After market steering wheel and air bag delete tray could help ya take a couple more pounds out. The S&P package even has the resistors to keep the dash lights off. Just throwing out idea's man.

I already snagged a Abag delete! Any S wheel suggestions? Grants seem to be decent quality for a good price.

I really like Grant wheels. You can get everything from Wood grain to formula 1 look-a-likes. Not sure what kind of hub adaptor is required, but there should be a few threads on here about it.

Randy,

I posted in another thread about the a/c delete kit awhile back. Still the same price? I finally am almost finished putting the engine back together, And I guess I need this kit if I don't have a/c? Is there any way I woulden't need it?

Can I just send you a pm with all of my CC information and shipping information, Or do I need to call to order it? I'd rather make it quick and easy and just pm it all to you!

Also, If I ordered when you replied, How long do you think until I recieved it? Before the end of next Friday??

Thanks alot,
Rob.

Rob,
Yep same price. We had 2 in stock yesterday and Marion got one. If no one else jumped on the other we have it in stock and could be next day aired if need be, your choice. If it is not in stock we can normaly get them in stock in 2 days from order. The only way to run without this kit and not have AC is to also run no PS (power steering) and that could hurt your PS rack and making turning a little harder but it can be done.

An email would work better than a PM so i can forward it to our office manager for shipping, but i would really like to have your phone number included so when she gets the total figured out for shipping she can all you and make sure everything is good to go.

Thanks
Randy
