Don't waste your money on the Jet Chip. Doesn't do much, there's nothing you can alter, and can often throw codes.SuperChips is introducing a programmer next month. Many LX owners have gotten in on a group buy.
It will allow maximum versatility, customizable fuel map adjustment, adjust the temperature that cooling fans come on, read AND clear DTCs, raise rev limit, fully tune transmission shift points, make tranny shift firmer/more responsive, programmable tire size ratings. And lots more. There will be significant advantages to the SuperChips programmer.
Just wait for the Superchip in a few months. You can start with intake/exhaust mods in the mean time. As for location, picked up my bad black MSRT on 2-10-06 and prowl the streets in Hollister, CA.

I picked up a red SRT8 Magnum back in January (waited 9 months for it) but was it worth the wait. I love this car. It's almost as much fun as the Viper. I am even taking it on the One Lap of America in May. I have done some cosmetic mods and want to post pictures but don't know how. Can anybody help in this area.
If your going to compete, you should get in touch with Dale Seeley, his Lake Effect Racing Team will be competing I believe. Also, the SRT team themselves are competing in a Grand Cherokee SRT-8.
Lastly, its kinda quiet here for the V8 SRTs. I recommend 300Cforums, LXforums, and chargerforums for SRT-8 info. While CF and 300C have an edge in SRT-8 info, Lxforums has the largest concentration of Magnum owners and hence the largest knowledge base on the maggies.
