Default 2006 Charger SRT-8 - 13.04 @107.63

Have taken the 2006 Charger SRT-8 to Milan Dragway twice - best run is 13.04. The car is totally stock w/ less than 2,000 miles - so I expect the car to pick up once it's broken in.

Below are all of the data points from the run.

ET 13.046
MPH 107.63
60 ft 1.973
330 ft 5.528
594 ft 7.893
1/8 mile ET 8.428
1/8 mile MPH 84.12
1000 ft 10.941
1/4 mile ET 13.046
1/4 mile MPH 107.63
Time 9:40

Best runs are leaving just off idle - ESP totally disabled and shifter in drive. Car passes finish line in 3rd gear at 5200 RPM.

300c SRT8s are in the 12s so its only a matter of time when an srt8 charger breaks in. DCX said these things only get faster with age....

Very proud owner of a Silver 300 SRT-8 living in deep south Florida. Sad to say that Wilma put a few bad scratches on her skin but insurance will have to answer that call. I attended the SRT Experience at Homestead Motor Speedway and couldn't believe how awesome of a car it is.

Anyone with (inexpensive) tips to get a little more quickness out of the motor?

I appreciate it very much....

Default Srt8

We also were at the Homestead Track experience! Had a blast that weekend, we went on the Saturday. We have one of the 4 SRT8 Magnums in the state! Awesome car also! Sure did get a different view of a Wagon! HUH?

Hey, we were wondering.....Is there any type of SRT club that's been started in the State? It would be nice to get together with people that all love thier SRT's and we can trade secrets, comments etc.

I am interested if anyone as of this time added a forced induction unit to see the tranny reaction.

As far as then being in the 12s stock, I saw one today at MIR, dealer paper plates, 700 miles on it, iced intake, street RSA tires, not the F1 Super car tires. 12.88 @110ish, 1.9 60'.

Theres a few blown ones, Hemi, but they are not talking a whole lot.

Default Charger SRT8 - I have a hand full of 12 second time slips

I've hit 3 different Strips in the last 3 days - Atco on Thursday - Cecil County on Friday Night and Englishtown today. Ran a 12.95 at Atco - 12.81 @110.49 at Cecil County and a 12.801 @109.65 at e-Town.

Where ever I went, The Charger SRT8 attracted a a number of curious enthusiasts that were amazed with the performance of the car. Its back to Michigan tomorrow. I met a number of folks from the forum - all nice people.

BTW - the Cadillacs were a no-show at E-Town today.

I'll post the time tickets and photos on the Charger Forum early next week.

Thanks man. I started out just parking in the grass with all the other spectator's cars. When I saw how many late model cars were entered in the car show, I decided to go ahead and enter my car. Ended up going home with a 2nd place trophy.

Were you racing? I saw only 3 SRT-4 but it looked like they all had Va. tags.
