Default wont go into gear!!

ok i was out cruising around and decided to go out on a empty road and practice on my 2nd to 3rd shifts cause it's been kinda hard to hit 3rd lately.and i did it a few times and then missed 3rd kinda bad and when i tried to put it back into gear it wouldn't go?it wont go into any gears now i havent took it apart yet.but do you guy's think it might be the shift selector or the 3/4 shift fork.thanks

Oh yea and this happened to me too. I missed a shift from 2nd to 3rd and I couldnt go into any gears. It was the shift selector.

im gonna say its the shift selector. This just happened to me. Its pretty easy to take off the shift selector assembly on top of your tranny under the battery so you can check this. once you pull it off you can see your gears and stuff. Look for a small piece of medal that is broken off. It will most likely be right on top of your forks.

good shit
now stop missing gears
if you got the billet selector your shift selector will be good but you will have to worry about shift forks
