ok i was out cruising around and decided to go out on a empty road and practice on my 2nd to 3rd shifts cause it's been kinda hard to hit 3rd lately.and i did it a few times and then missed 3rd kinda bad and when i tried to put it back into gear it wouldn't go?it wont go into any gears now i havent took it apart yet.but do you guy's think it might be the shift selector or the 3/4 shift fork.thanks
im gonna say its the shift selector. This just happened to me. Its pretty easy to take off the shift selector assembly on top of your tranny under the battery so you can check this. once you pull it off you can see your gears and stuff. Look for a small piece of medal that is broken off. It will most likely be right on top of your forks.
yah thanks for all the reply's im really not to worried about taking out the selector or the fork i have done it many times now lol..just aggravated cause im trying buy parts for my 50trim and shit keeps popping up that i gotta pay haha..owell!!
