Was driving and shifted hard to 3rd and somehow it got stuck in 4th. Bushings are find but the cable on the left side of the shifter is stuck, won't move at all. So i went to the top of the tranny and it's stuck there. So Synchros broke? Oh and i tried to pry it lose and broke the cable end.(I KNOW IT WAS STUPID. Was frustration does) Do i need to replace the whole cable or just the end?
Thanks
Take your shift selector cover off, which is where the cables connect to the transmission. You either snapped your shift selector, or broke your 3/4 shift fork. You can tell either one from pulling the shift selector cover off.
happen to a buddy last night but his car was stuck in 3rd
