OK this might be a dumb question to all of you in here but when it comes to transmissions Im a NOOB... Ok here is my question; If i have an 03 SRT4 would a 05 SRT4 transmission work with my car? My transmission went out so I need a new one and I found an 05 tranny for cheap.... Its either that or spending 2,600.00 at the dealership for a new one... As for the 05 tranny; Bad Idea or Go for it???? Input please...
It would be a VERY good idea actually. You would be getting a LSD (limited slip differential). Good for keeping both tires spinning instead of one.
