ok so tonight on my way home it started doing the thing where it kinda gets stuck in gear. i was sitting at a stop light and with the clutch in i could feel a jerk in the engine bay and thats when it would stick in gear. i think 4th. i could kinda slam the clutch in a couple times and it would come out and i could shift the gears again but while it was stuck it wouldnt go into any gear. is this still sound like the clutch? or sounding more like tranny? it really sucks cause i didnt wanna deal with this yet.

I think u shouldnt take it in bekuz mine made the same noise but then one day it did the same thing that happened to u actually the exact thng that happened to u and found out that it was the flywheel was loose and the hard shifting was the clutch fork but u dont have to worry about that kuz mine was hard to shift all the time so jus take it apart and it could be jus that some bolts r lose

That's what mine sounds like! Where can I get the flexplate blots from? Do I have to drop the whole tranny?

Ok problem solved. it wasnt a loose bolt on the flexplate or the throw out bearing like everyone thought. it was actually the transmission just broke. they said the shaft that holds the gears broke and it was just a mess inside the tranny. The dealer replaced the tranny under warrantee and put on my new south bend clutch. so alls good now and im very happy with dodge. They were very nice and patient as the tranny came in before the clutch did. Now the hard part of keeping my foot out of it for the 750 miles to break the clutch in.
