Default Trans stuck in third gear..

I was coming of the Highway trying to catch the light coming out of second gear into third.........and when i went to put it in third it reved to like 8 gran and stalled out.

Started it Back up and i couldnt take my foot of the clutch but when i eased off it, it started to roll. The car is in third Gear in Neutral when i start it, but I have to put the shifter in third to drive it. Cables are fine, and i can move the shifter into all gears but it wont drive in any gear but 3rd.

Is My Tranni shot or is it the clutch.

x3 on the shift selector! Its a pretty easy thing to fix! IMO go with a AGP, or Pwerks billet piece!

Hope you didn't bend your shift fork when your selector broke. That's what happened to me. If you have problems with 3rd or 4th after you fix the selector your 3/4 shift fork is bent. Good luck! These cars are on problem after another.
