No one believed when I pushed the idea of 300whp on the stock turbo now look.when I said the stock motor could handle 400whp now look.when I stood by the idea that a piggy back could get you 400whp let alone 500whp now look.that you could run anything above a dry 35 shot on the motor, and then they went all the way to pushing 75.
My buddy's TWM shifter is probably the best shifting SRT-4 i've driven.
Depends mainly on the install actually, I've had 3 different Maddog STS's(I'm sort of a test car), and all of them were smooth. I'm sure that some cars may like some shifters more than others, I'm just saying that if everything is adjusted and tightened correctly the shifts will be smooth.

I have the hurst and like it alot but if you get it lube the shit out of it with lithium grease because it doesnt move very smooth at first. Other than that its a good shifter, plus i got a good deal on it in the f/s section.
Not the orig. owner, I've researched quite a bit, but don't know which shifter I have. It seems to me to be a short throw with the stock knob.
Is there a way to tell without taking it apart. It has the stock boot.

I have never owned th Maddog , but Chuck is awesome with helping his customers. I have LOTS of great things about his shifters.
The shifter I would have to say sucks the most is Boomba......good luck consistantly /smoothly getting that GD thing into third and it is hella expensive.
