Squeaky Drivetrain Fix w/Pics

The dealership that fixed this problem has said that they have had numerous problems with SRT-4s doing this. It is a problem that has plagued many members on here and no answer has been found. I found that answer thanks to some really good SRT techs at a local dealership. Refer to this post for some of the problems.Squeak starting off in first I have included pictures so everyone can see what is causing the squeaks. You can do this at home and do not need to take it in unless you want to. At the factory they are utilizing the wrong bolt hole in the frame. SO overtime the bolt backs out and the bracket along with the clutch cable begin to squeak. Just move the bracket to the other hole.

Here is an overview of the location:

Here is an upclose shot of the old location and the new one:

The bolt pictured is in the new hole. The hole circled is the old location.

Did anyone notice the clutch feeling stronger after doing this? Mine feels a little bit tougher when pushing down, which is kinda better than the regular feel.

I wanna do this because my shifter has been verrry squeaky recently. I just got the car a month ago, so Im not really sure where these pics you took are, but it looks liek its behind your aftermarket intake so does that mean I ahve to remove the stock airbox and it should be under that? On the drivers side of the engine bay??

Wait is this that weird feel/squeak you get pressing in and releasing the clutch pedal?

Yes. Your dealership will do it for you if you don't.
