Default sloppy shifter

Hey I seem to have alot of play in gear in my shifter
I have the mopar short shifter and was thinking maybe it was the shift linkage??
I have booger bushings in there as well
what it does is it will move about an inch front to back while in gear but doesnt move side to side in gear at all
Now a few weeks ago I had a problem with the push rod that connects to the clutch coming loose from the clutch pedal and it was making it really hard to get into gear so I just had to muscle it in
I wonder if its possible I somehow "stretched" the shift linkage??
Any ideas on what to look for would be appreciated
The other thing I thought it may be is the shift selector

worn/ruined bushings would definitely be my first place to look. even if they're not worn I'd pick up a set of Booger Bushings to keep handy or just swap in anyways.

I found the problem for the sloppy shifter...
my "upgraded" booger bushings had torn in half and part had fallen out of the transmission

Yup
thats exactly what I am gonna do when I get paid
I stuck a stock bushing back in there for now to at least have something
but I def do plan on putting the ragetek bushings in there
I wish I could find someone who makes a bushing set for the base of the shifter.....
If anyone knows anyplace that makes them PLEASE let me know
I know someone made some of there own but I would prefer just to buy some
