Default Shreaded splines on CV axle...

Still have the stock turbo, and stock computer, but everythings else has been upgraded (stock wastegate).

I went from 1st to second, climbing a hill from a stop. About a half-second after I hit second at WOT, I lost the axles, and just heard a metal grating sound.

I got the car home and up on the lift, and the passenger side CV axle inboard side splines were removed half way down the bore. It looks like the CV axle walked l about half way down the splines, then there was just too much torque and ripped half the bore down all the splines from the CV axle.

What would cause the CV axle to unlock itself from the internal retaining clip and walk down the splines???
