Default Quick Question on Royal Purp ATF

So i went looking around evrywhere to get some royal purple ATF.
Finally found some at napa auto parts.
So i buy 3 qts and when i get home i realize it says "ATF"

Then remembered we use ATF-4

Does this matter if? Is it the same shit?

am i good to go? im tryna pour this shit in asap

I did my tranny fluid about 15K ago. I used Royal Purple Synchro Max. I even called RP to be sure I was using the right stuff. I would NOT put that ATF in. Check RP's web site for more info.

don't be stupid. If you put the atf in your tranny good luck when you have to buy a new one. If you change from the mopar atf+4, which every srt should do, you better be putting in synthetic manual tranny fluid. Syncromax.

i due believe there is a reason why they make different types use your brain people and if you dont know ask there is someone on here every second of everyday they can tell you or help you find out use synthetic manual tranny fluid. Syncromax i due believe it is 75w - 90 sae 11.00 to 15.00 dollars a quart.

yeah thats why i asked here first before i did anything

so i went back to NAPA today and tried to get a refund but apparently in MD you cant return "chemical fluids" so i was like umm ok wtf am i suppt to do with this. then he said he can do an exchange. so i was like ok can you guys plz order the synchromax and he was like
"no i cant do that" i was like umm why? and he jsut said he cant, which i thought was BS, i mean why the hell can't you?

eventually they let me exhange the royal purple with soem valvoline ATF-4 full syn
so im just going to use that = /
