PT Cruiser GT transmission swap
So even with new tires the torque steer and inability to use all the engine's power is completely hampered with an open differential. The PT Cruiser GT used the same engine as the SRT4 but without a limited slip. I'm trying to find the best value route to go. I would like to ask if anyone has the idea if I should find a used SRT4 transmission with the LSD already in there to put into my cruiser, or find a LSD somewhere and crack my transmission case and have it installed.
So pricing these things out.

Gear ratios for SRT-4 (T850 transmission):
Final drive: 3.526:1
Gear ratios for PT GT (Getrag 288S Transmission):
Final Drive Ratio: 3.29
The engines are the same, the bellhousing is the same but I'm wondering if the axle shafts, and cases will fit into the mounts. Because if I can get a used SRT-4 transmission already with the LSD, I would do that to take advantage of the lower gear ratios.
