Default please reassure me guys...new to the neon

just got the car..05 with 62k on it...the clutch must be completely in the floor with a good bit of pressure behind it for good usage...otherwise 1st gear 2nd and reverse are in need of a little extra umph to go in gear...this sounds like the TOB fork right?

In the mean time you can try this:

HOW-TO: Adjusting Clutch Pedal

Only adjust the pedal all the way up toward the steering wheel. Not down like the OP did in this thread.

It's a temporary "band-aid" fix, but it will help eliminate some of the wear caused by forcing it into gear.

thank you kind sir..the srt forums are way beter than honda forums...i would have gotten two smart ass remarks instead of helpful information lol
