you guys are trying to scare me to death on my tranny arent you......i keep seeing more and more bad tranny threads i was hoping at first it was just a couple bad drivers but its getting more noticable..

Nice thread, Nivo. Definitely saving some of these pictures. Now the question is if you have problems, do you just keep replacing these trannies with the same model and consider it a VERY EXPENSIVE CONSUMABLE or is there some way to replace it once?

Same problem here, like I said befor lets just sue DCX... lol
fixing to have to put a new tranny after i blew my original for the second time and chrysler wont cover it...

Holy Crap that thing is tiny!!!

My input shaft in My Jeep cj5 is like 1.875"

But the trannies out of a dumptruck, I mentioned that right?

1997 f250 4x4 powerstroke diesel. Propane injected, 5" mandrel exhaust 4" downpipe, Injectors blah blah, and lots of other junk good for 390hp 790 ft lbs. 2003 Silver 03 srt-4 stock as a rock 1974 AMC Gremlin 401ci 2900 lbs and 375hp and 425ftlbs. Yeah it ought to scoot.

Ah, memories. I don't ever want to have to go through that again. Hey Massilversrt4, There is a poll sticky'd in the drivetrain discussion forum about broken input shafts. You should go vote on it. So far, I'm noticing a pattern with mods. It seems that most people that have broken their input shaft are using a clutchmasters S4 clutch. By the looks of it, your clutch is also a clutchmasters.
