I just put in a ACT 6 puck and new Mopar TOB yesterday. When the car is in the air I can watch and see that the clutch disengages when I press the pedal half way because the tires stop spinning and all is well.
However, if I press the pedal all the way down I get a fast rattling noise that I can feel in the pedal. Almost like a grind. It only does it when the pedal is all the way in though.
The TOB fork was fine and the bearing and pivot ball were replaced.
Thats what I wanted to hear guys. The thought of doing it over again wasnt sitting very well with me today. I had to redo some crap yesterday that kind of bothered me.
Maybe adjust the pedal linkage so it doesn't push the clutch in as far?
I think that will work. Its just at about the last 5% that makes noise. The other 95% feels good. I will try that in the morning while its still in the air so I can be sure its fully disengaging.

Hold on...it sounds kinda like what mine was doing, I would push the pedal all the way to the floor and i could feel the pedal vibrating and hear it a little if i open my door. Defenitely did not feel normal and it got very annoying and shifting wasnt the greatest, so i figured it was the tob fork or tob, so while i bought those, i got a new oem clutch put in at the same time and when i took the old tob fork out, i saw that it was pretty worn down causing me the issues. If your car is idling and you push in the clutch all the way down and its vibrating, then it cant be clutch chatter. Your sure your tob fork was good when you looked at it?
Yeah, the TOB fork didnt look bad at all. Everything worked fine when I took it apart. I just upgraded the clutch because I went with a bigger turbo and plan on upping the HP beyond the limits of the stock clutch. I dont think the clutch, TOB, TOB fork, ect, were very old. The guy I bought the car from said he replaced it all not long before I bought it.

O ok, well as long as everything looked fine and your having no other issues then i guess its normal like the others were saying. That vibrating doesnt get annoying does it? like if your in traffic and you have to push down on the clutch alot.

Any ideas?
That was a PITA wasn't it?!?!
That and taking out the PS half shaft from the Intermediate shaft took an hour and a half... It has been replaced and whoever did it didn't grease it so it rusted together
When I had the SAME problem, the TOB fork was wearing on the pressure plate. You can see if it is by popping off the plastic inspection cover and seeing if any yellow paint is worn away in a perfect circle around the pressure plate.

IS this a problem and if it is, how can it/did you fix it?

I was pretty lucky that the job went fairly smooth. Its probably because it was done not long ago and the parts didnt rust together yet.
Im getting ready to go out and adjust just enough out of the pedal to not allow it to grind. I think that will fix it.
