Default need a clutch

I have a question. I'm looking at clutchs & flywheels. I was told I shouldn't put a lighten flywheel on my car. How true is that? My other question is has anyone had problems with either the clutchmaster stage 4 or act xtss ?

I was told when you put a lighter flywheel im it rattles at idle, not really an issue just an annoyance, and they dont always last as long. Not sure how true it is but thats the reasoning i was told.

What are your mods? No need to upgrade the clutch if you are still stock or close to stock. If you are looking for a street clutch that can handle more power go with the ACT HDSS.

Well its torque you want to go by when looking for clutches more than horsepower. I believe both of those clutches you listed above will do the trick for you. I haven't heard much negative from either of those.

P.S. the ACT HDSS is rated at around 470tq. Not how much torque you got but I have heard good things about this clutch as well.

The aftermarket clutch you purchase should already come a different flywheel that is lighter than the stock. Not sure on going even lighter, someone else needs to chime in on that one

I'm on my second HDSS now, its been an all around good clutch, for your power though I'd recommend getting the 6 puck for sure.

The lightweight flywheel is fine, the first one I had made a little bit of noise but this one is quiet as a stock clutch.

ACT 6 Puck Awesome clutch, but seems to chatter a bit.. not a big deal though.
