Default lsd not engaging!

so it kinda engages but did a little burn out yesterday and went back and looked at the marks on the pavement and drivers side mark through second was solid width of tire(except for shift between first and second), but pass side was a lot lighter as far as rubber on the pavement (not nearly as dark). is this normal for stock lsd or should it put both down equally as far as marks on the pavement? solid mm's and trans mount and upgraded lca's so there was no wheel hop!
