good info . funny how a few people flamed about copying straight from manual , the "easily obtained" manual . but when asked how to find said manual ........nothing . Since that is the case , this thread is justified .
I personally dont have a copy , need to get one as well . Would rather get an actual book from Mother Mopar herself . I like my reference material to be "old-school" .
20. Remove the four clutch-to-engine bolts. While removing the bolts, one tight-tolerance hole will be encountered. When the bolt is removed, mark driveplate (flywheel) and modular clutch assembly at this location, and be sure to align marks upon reassembly. See Fig 20
What is the best way to get these out, and do you have to do this step to get the trans off? Seems like I could get the trans off first after removing the top 2 bellhousing bolts and then the trans mount. Then remove those and the flywheel after the trans is out of the way. Am I wrong.
And I will be installing a new ACT flywheel and non-modular clutch, do I still need to mark the tight tollerance hole??

at the bottom of the trans is a cover, sim.2 a auto. once removed, rotate engine 2 move the blots 2 the bot. after the 4 bolts are removed the mod. clutch stays w/ the trans like a torque converter. If installing a new flywheel and non-mod clutch, I dont see y u would have 2 mark the alignment hole.!?!.

Yeah, I came close to deleting this thread. I can see that this thread has helped a few so that's good enough for me.

im glad you didnt too bad i was half way done before i found it i just finished installing a dcr ps2 clutch and its slipping i was told to bleed the clutch any advice and/or knowledge you can pass on this would be my first clutch install ever by the way wow that took forever yes im a rookie at 32 but damn that was fun.
how do you align the transmission, when im in reverse and i put the clutch in i get a clunk. i dont know if its the solid transmission mount but i was told my trans might need to be alligned. also when the car is idiling in neutral and i let off the clutch it sounds like there is lose ball inside the transmission is that normal with a solid trans mount?
there's a couple places you can get the service manual - the dealership or Modern Performance - I got mine for 'bout $150....LoL, heLL, I'd rather buy from a 2ner shop than the dealership ANYDAY!!!!
