i had my tranny rebuilt....still no luck....still notchy in second gear....they replaced the slave/master cylinder.....its notchy in reverse also....i checked the adjustment on the clutch pedal i'm not sure if i'm checking for the crossover right?....i loosen the the lil nut moved the shifter....only thing that helped a lil was taking out the mopar sts....i put the old one in goes into 3rd like butter....still funky in those two gears......when they had the tranny out i should of just changed the clutch...but they said it was fine...and the tob fork was fine.....only thing it could be is the clutch or a stupid lil adjustment? any info on checking the crossover let me know

what if the while the clutch pedal is released and the car is in neutral u hear a grinding noise and it feels like it is trying to grab a gear anyway??? but if u press down the clutch pedal the noise stops??

Sounds like the engagement of your clutch is the culprit, hence your clutch system needs investigating.

How often do TOB forks go bad?

I've already replaced TWO in the past 2 years and from the grinding noise I heard this morning from my clutch pedal after shifting, it appears I have ANOTHER fork issue. What is going on???
