Sorry if this was already stated. But I noticed a lot of these vehicles with broken axles had some type of motor mount work done.
If you do anything with motor mounts make sure the engine still sits where is is suppost to. One person said that his broke while turning out of a parking lot.
I believe this to be because his engine wasn't sitting where it was suppost to and pulled the the half shaft right out at the cv boot. I had this problem with my '89 Daytona Shelby. One way to tell is if you hear a cracking or poping when you turn one way or another.
Just wanted to throw that out there. Sorry for everyone's luck.
Driving style? Somewhat agressive but not abusive! I NEED to add here, they didn't fail, I had a small clunking noise, showed it to them, they said it was my CV Boot on one side and the axle WAS GOING TO GO on the other side so they replaced both.

I put some DSSR axles on my car about three months ago. Know I have a nother problem last saturday something strip out on the right side of my car. It is either my axle or my half-shaft that is in between the trainsmisson and the axle on the right side of my car.
