Default Hurst STS kit thread pitch/size

I just got the Hurst STS kit from MP and installed it. I want to upgrade the shift knob to a Billet Technolgy knob. They need to know the thread pitch and size so they can drill and tap the knob. Maybe I can get this info from Hurst or MP, but I thought I'd try here first.

Anyone know this?

Default BT is great

Thanks to Jdavis. Now I can get my order in to BT. I am a big fan of BT and have almost all of their products for the SRT-4. I'm also going to ask them if they can do a custom piece for my 89 Shelby CSX shift knob/lockout ring! That would be so awesome!

Your welcome! They are very good with custom orders, and relatively quick as well!

For anyone else who wants to order one of these: the counter bore recess is 0.60" by 0.20" depth. This is to accommodate the jam nut that Hurst uses. My total cost is pennies under $100. The counter bore cost is $30 extra. BT suggested I just use the set screw that normally comes with the ball to lock it against the shaft. No, I don't want to mess up the threads on the shift stick.

Further info: The OD of the jam nut is 0.55" and the ID of the Hurst knob is 0.65". I just went with 0.60".

HTH someone.
