i have a hurst shifter and i love it. i had the mopar sts with stock and booger bushings and no matter what always hard gettin it into some gears. even with a fresh tranny flush. after taking out mopar and using the stock shifter to install the hurst, night and day. hurst is alot smoother in all the gears. throw a bit longer but i can't tell anymore. still nice and tight even with stock shifter bushings. directions that came with it are straight forward.

my driving i really use my srt for cruising and some WOT runs. really don't drag or auto-x it...

anything else please ask...

too much side to side play but definitely waaaayyy smoother than the Mopar unit. I'm pullin mine out and ordering a Maddog unit.......but ima keep the hurst knob, it feels way better thatn the "come off in your hand" stock ball.

there's horrific sideplay in the hurst shifter.

it's due to a tolerance flaw - possibly not all are manny'd this way.

pesonally, i put the hurst ball/shaft in the mopar sts housing and it works well.

like the look of the shifter.

I have a BOOMBA that i'm taking out 'cause it's just tooooo short and hard to get into 1st & 3rd. When my new boogers show up I'll be putting the Hurst in. just found a used one for 80$.

I too love the shortness of the throw on the BOOMBA but I feel like it doesn't always engage fully and maybe streching my cables. I also want the Hurt to put an old skool T handle on for drag.
