Default How to tell if shift fork is bent?

Well my tranny is apart and I was wondering how to tell if my shift fork is fucked. Reason I ask is before I tore it apart when I would try to into 3rd sometimes it would kick it back out. The synchronizer looks great, so I'm assuming its the shift fork. Thanks guys!

Mines looks pretty straight. Are the bent ones usually noticeably fucked up?

i had the same problem as you and it was a bad 3/4 shift fork. i broke mine before i could take it out and inspect for bends/wear, etc. while it's apart, whats a ~$100 part to save your time when it will eventually break. Is there noticable scratches or gouges in the groove area?
