Default How Long Have You Used Royal Purple???

Just wondering how long fellow srt4 owners have used Royal Purple Synchromax tranny fluid in their cars. I just made the switch @ 1700 miles, now have 1900. This is primarily a question for '04 and '05 srt's with LSD.

Basically 2.5 qts of RP w/o the 4oz of FM cause you don't need to use it with RP right??

How long have you used it? Has the shifting gotten alot better with time, and if so, how long before you really started to notice dramatic improvements?

On my car, it does feel a little better. Sometimes it seems to grind a little going to second or third but it's not bad considering I test drove two new 05 with 5 to 10 miles on them and they would not go into gear . I have about 10k with it in so far. And yes w/o the FM.

If your grinding in your 05 prepare yourself for a new tranny.A tranny in good working order should NEVER grind going into gear.Mines at the dealership at 5200 miles getting a new tranny.3rd gear synchros are gone.
