Unhappy Help please Clutch maybe Tranny ?

Recently my 3rd gear has been grinding even when the clutch is in, it'll go into gear but, not without sounding like your trying to shift without the clutch in.
some help would be nice if anyone has any clue as to what causes this... so I can get it fixed.

Sounds like the syncro's are shot? I'm by no means knowledgeable in this area though.

Well My friend use to work at the Dodge dealership, so the Service Manger is his good friend I brought it in there, and since it was ONLY grinding into gear in 3rd gear he said it wouldn't be the clutch because that would do it in 1st too along with it disengaging would do it in 1st as well.
He figured out it was the Transmission what specifcally i Don't know yet.
but, he said if only 3rd gear grinds in any SRT-4 its usually because of

''amature'' shifting, not putting the clutch in enough when shifting.
so if you wanna safe yourself some Cash push that damn clutch in.
it pays to have the hook ups Employee pricing for me and a new Transmission for only 500$

I'll find out more from him they are smart there.

Sounds like if its only making the grinding when the clutch is engaged that it is ether the Throw out bearing , Throw out bearing fork, or the the throw out bearing shift ball. I just recently had a new clutch and flywheel installed and I had this same problem. I had to re drop the tranny and put in a new Pivot ball on the throw out bearing fork. Alot of people have been having the same problem only there shift fork is grinded down severely. The The pivot ball is a horrible design. Half of the ball is rubber and decentagrates after miles of shifting.
