Thanks, If I take the trany and new input shaft to a shop what is an ave price I can expect to be charged?
QUOTE=ptperformance;6228666]Take it to a tranny shop. The how to is very difficult and unless you have torn down a trany before I would leave this one to the experts.[/quote]
Input shaft isn't bad. But you need tools like a press and a good pair of snap ring pliers and a bearing puller. Plus you need to have a 2 1/4" wrench, a vice with with wood positioned on each side to protect the shaft, and a small hammer to break the big ass retaining bolt loose.

Your shop really isn't close to me and I appreciate the offer but I can do it all myself. I'm a tech apprentice at a GM dealership so I have access to a press and I've done a few of these trannys already so it's nothing new to me. But thanks for the offer (that is if it was intended for me, if not go on with your life as if this post didn't happen).
