Default Help<<....

ok my car is a 05 with 44k on it now..i have had the bad 3rd gear shift fork and syncros for about 15k..now i rarely downshift to 3rd to avoid bending the shift fork anymore..but when i race at the track or whereever is crunches into 3rd...now how bad is this for the tranny??..cause i wanna wait until the clutch goes and do it all at once, instead of dropping the tranny twice..should i worrie about this problem alot and get it fixed asap or try and wait until the clutch goes??

You actually don't have to drop the tranny to fix the shift fork or synchros, just remove the gearset like in this post.

Broken 3/4 shift fork FTW!!! Pics!
