hard 1st no go in 3rd ?

ok first of coming to a stop or parking lot i have the damnest time tring to get in to 1st, ill come toa rolling stop and it wont go in to 1st or on one ocassion it will grind nasty, when that happen i poped it out in nutrial. second couple times i went to put it in 3rd and it wouldnt go in. mostly when speed shifting or quicker granny style. so i dont know if thiers an issue or not just wondering cause my warrenty is ticking away.
