Default Gear oil leaking from passenger side *PICS*

This is on the passenger side. I can't figure out where gearoil would be leaking from. It's not tranny fluid, and it's not motor oil. It's all over the passenger side of the motor, axle, alternator, and underdrive pulley.

What has gear oil on this side??? CV joint? How can tell if it's bad? Car moves, but I can hear a light clicking noise when I first start the car, and goes away when I press the clutch in. Then I can hear what I'm assuming is the clutch when I'm from a stop going to about 3k rpm it makes a weird whooshing sound, same in 2nd gear.

The transmission is gear oil...It's a manual. Check out the seals where the axles go into the tranny.

I thought tranny fluid is red. I guess it just depends on what was put in after clutch was installed. It looked almost like water then I swiped it with my fingers and it was thick and slippery . There is no fluid on the transmission or that side at all.

seems like oil to me man.....look at how its dripping off the block....the grease used in the axles is not as fluid like and the trans fluid would leak from where i shaft meets trans. Its gotta be engine oil

From your pics it's hard to say for sure but I have gotten it in those general areas and somehow it can leak out of the end of that intermediate shaft. I don't understand that but mine appears to be doing it. I have had my whole tranny out and I don't see how it comes out there.

I find gear oil in that area and figure it gets flung around by the axels spinning.
