Default Forward Motion rebuilt transmission

Has anyone bought one of these rebuilt transmissions from Forward Motion? The price is the best i've seen anywhere. It seems like a great deal!

Forward Motion, Inc. 2007 Catalog

FM Rebuilt Transmissions
Fully rebuilt with new seals, races , bearings, synchronizers and pads.

With Quaife LSD:
$1,445.00 with exchange
$2,045.00 outright

Without Quaife LSD:
$845.00 with exchange
$1,445.00 outright

Any thoughts?

i dont understand why you wouldn't just go with upgraded parts or even the pwerks staged tranny's if your gonna spend money like that.

The work is done in house. Besides the Pwerks billet input shaft upgrade and billet shift selector upgrade, we also take care of and do any factory updates as well. One example being is we only use the newest 3rd gear shift fork and rail assemblies. As far as the warranty goes if there would be a problem with assembly (which is unlikely) we would want to get the trans back and fix the issue. If you go out race the car and break something then it is on you. With the billet steel input shaft installed in these transmissions they become as close to bullet proof as you can get, it will come down to the driver in the end.

Thanks for the input everyone. My stupid trans is picky and really notchy. Even after having the trans in for warrenty for the 3rd gear problems, problems persist. Soon as tax season is here, its new trans for me! Can't stand my POS trans anymore.
