Default flywheel bolts/loctite ?

Ok, so I'm installing my CM s4 6-puck today....I got 4 new bolts from the dodge dealership for the flywheel (or drivewheel as its called in the manual). they already seem to have a blue threadlocking compound on them...my question is this: will i be fine just using this, or should i use red loctite? and if i just use the stuff that came on there, should i let it sit for any period of time before using it?

Well, I would use red and put it on yourself. Reason I say this is because my SRT-4 and several others(some I read about, 1 was at same dealer mine was serviced at) have had the flywheel bolts actually come loose, and cause a horrendous noise, and damage the clutch. This happened to me on my '05 at about 3400 miles, mine were so loose the mechanic who serviced it said he was able to remove all of them with his fingers.

I'd hate to se you trust the stock stuff, and have a problem like that.

this would actually be my 2nd clutch install, because they backed out the first time. and yeah, it caused some horrendous noise and screwed over the clutch. my 05s stock clutch died at 17,500

I find it amazing that Dodge, only has a TSB for this, not a recall. When I called DOdge to ask about this, and complained at the damage this could have caused, I was told it was not a recall because it's a "minor" problem...yes, the flywheel really has little to do with the operation of the vehicle.

Another funny thing, they will void your warranty for an underdrive pulley for the harmonics it could induce and possibly cause oil pump or bearing failure. I'm sure the rattling of a loose flywheel at the end of our crankshafts doesn't affect anything though.
