So I've been fighting a vibration at 60-80 mph for a while. It seems intermittent (i.e. will happen sometimes, and not at others). Will only occur now at about 80 mph, but not nearly as bad as before. Here's what I've done that's reduced it:
Changed wheel bearings
Installed Prothane bushings
Rebalanced wheels (all are perfect)
Gotten alignment (spot on)
Had coilovers professionally tuned (i.e. car put on 4-corner scales and adjusted appropriately).
Vibration has SIGNIFICANTLY lessened, but it's still there. It no longer shakes my arms, though. Tires are Kumho Ecstas and they're fairly new, rims are 17" SRs and fairly new, too (and no balancing issues).
Car drives straight, only the steering wheel vibrates. There's NO play in the wheels when I have the car off the ground (there was, but the wheel bearing replacement fixed that). I also added new endlinks to the front sway bar.
Only thing I can think of is the steering rack or the axle(s). There's NO noise at all, either turning or going straight. No odd noises coming from anywhere. No notorious ticking that the CV joints do when going bad, either. Axles have about 90k on them, though (never broken and OEM one!).
Any advice would be appreciated. Alignment shop said alignment is perfect (have readout); tires balance perfectly and the suspension is tuned and tight. I really have no idea what it could be.
Replaced tie-rod ends last year. Moog replacements. From what I've seen, they're still good. Alignment shop didn't say anything about them being bad.
I replaced the ball joints when I did the bushing install. Forgot to mention that.

Separation? What do you mean by that? I'm using hubcentric rings, too. I always torque the tires with the car off the ground in a star pattern to make sure it's seated properly.

Any way to check if there's no clicking or sound? At 90k miles should I just replace them with another OEM set? I know they're cheap, too, and it's something I've been wanting to do. I figured they'd have some noise, though.
Seperation as in air getting past the cords and gettng trapped between the rubber and cords inside a tire and causeing a little hump just cause the tire maybe new doesnt mean it can still happen
In the wheel is either tire or wheels or both. Were the tires road forced balanced?
No idea. Problem remains even when I switch around the tires, though. It doesn't only happen when the same two are on the front of the car.

I have not visually checked the axles aside from just looking at them doing oil changes and the like.
Vibration occurs continually usually when exceeding 75 mph up until maybe 90 then stops. It happens under throttle and stops when I let off the throttle. Vibration does not occur under 70 mph. Before, it was fairly violent between 60mph and 90mph, then it would go away.
This. Usually though you feel the affects at almost all speed, though if I remember right I started feeling it at about the same speed as you. Visually check the boots when you get a chance to see for any small leaks or splits.
I have something similar
like a small vibration at half throttle over 80
car is over 200k
I had an axle going, the shake got bad and mostly went away with a new axle, it was only under accleration. This happened twice now.
Now there's still a tiny shake, I know my top motor mount is a bit loose (it stretched when I swapped the tranny since I didnt have the motor on a jack doh) , so I'm gonna try that, since the tires are balanced, tie rods are good, axles have less than. 10k and never been raced. I also replaced the knuckle/bearing to see if it was that. Hope it's not clutch or tranny . Only things left to check again are the ball joints.
