Default Clutch master cylinder bushing problems

I'm having problems with that stupid little plastic bushing where the clutch master cylinder meets the clutch pedal. I've broken 3 in the last year, 2 of which were in the last month. Anyone know what could be causing this? I know its a weak part but I went 3 years with no problems with it and now they are snapping on me like crazy.

For those who don't know this is the part I'm talking about.

I'm going to order the one above from modern performance but would still like to know whats causing this. The clutch is a South Bend stage 3 non modular.

Pic should work now. It's the little black plastic piece on the left.

Something is wrong with your driving or your setup. That is very easy going clutch. I'd recommend the Ragetek piece over the modern one if you are breaking that many bushings. The Ragetek one will stand up to more abuse.

i had a stock clutch and a comp clutch for 75,000 miles... the day i put my act clutch in, it broke... i think it all depends on the clutch you are using honestly.

Pretty sure its not my driving, like I said I went 3 or 4 years without breaking one. The first one broke a couple months after installing this new clutch.
