ok i was coming up a hill shifting from 2nd into 3rd and i thought i miss shift so i took it back into second and didnt move....i parked it and tried to see whats wrong with it. i mean it goes into every gear and say if i put it in first and let out on the clutch it wont move if i give it gas or stall out its like im in nuetral wtf...please i need help
ps i dont think its the clutch cos i didnt smell anything nor was there black smoke or any smoke...... any ideas please i need help asap
Sounds like your shift selector broke in the neutral position or your input shaft snapped.

Yea, a broken axle and a broken shift selector have VERY similar characteristics. No movement, gears go in, let clutch out, nothing. Glad to see that it was the cheaper of the two.

damn dude that sucks sorry to hear that.... well to be completely honest wit u. i didnt check my axle hopefully mine isnt broke...what made u check urs?? and the bigger pin on the shift selector is a sob to get out

because its the easiest thing to replace & plus like the other guy said the symptoms are very similar between the axle & the shift selector
Tearing my tophat off my trans tomorrow to inspect my selector.
Only thing diff. between axles and selector i have found so far is with the selector being broke, you can put it in 1st and still move it like ur in neutral.
