Question !!cant Get Out Of Nuetral!!

the other day i was leaving a stop light nice and smooth in 1st, shifted to 2nd and floored it thru the gear, then when i went to put in 3rd nothin happened. thought i missed the gear but as i was coasting i tried putting the car in every gear and its like im in nuetral! even when i start the car it feels like i can go into a gear but nothin happens, i dont even have to push the clutch pedal down to try and get in a gear.

if someone could please help me i would greatly appreciate it!

i have looked under my shifter to see if the cables were still connected to trans and i have also took the top thing off the trans to look for some "pin" that i have read about in other forums but honestly i dont think i know what im looking for.

thanks again for you time, i look forward to talking to you all

Most likely its your selector. Look at it closer. When you pull that plate off there's a knubbin on the selector. If you shift to hard it can brake, leaving your car in nuetral. Check this link out it explains it better. http://www.agpturbo.com/product.php?...cat=272&page=1

Thats what you need. I think.

It might be your input shaft.

^by taking the trans out lol....ya that happened to me last month on the highway and i ended up doing a full trans rebuild cause the input shaft snapped and splintered taking the rest of my trans, clutch, and flywheel with it....ended up costing like $3g to get it moving again lol

ya thats what i was afraid of, i also heard something about a third gear shift fork? does that sound familiar? ive heard that when those break it does the same thing? i also heard that those were a recall in the 05 srt4.

it wasnt the axles either,i got the 800 horse axles because the factory ones are on like a national backorder last time i checked. but i still checked them and they are ok
