Blew my input shaft Oct 2006, had a CM Race clutch, the CM700 I think. WOT shift from 3-4th, nose dropped but didn't make any noise and the motor just revved. Twisted the input shaft about 2 inches from the end off like a hot tootsie roll, LOL! Purchased the Performance Autowerks Stage 1 upgrade and put a much less aggressive clutch in, one good for 4-500HP, no problems since, but no WOT shifts either!

It does so with authority and poise, but while slipping relatively unnoticed through traffic, never being violent, or dare I say it, frightening. When you ask the SRT-4 to take you somewhere fast, it punches you in the face, throws you over its shoulder, and runs, screaming, so quickly that its tires can barely keep up."

Default 2nd shaft broken

Nine months to the day last night and I snapped a second shaft I put in. Going down hill in fifth 1/8 mile from my house not beating on it. This one was cryo treated, I guess that didnt work out too well. Car is 9/05 mods are similar to Aaronneon's 300hp list. This sucks, I'm thinking about going back to stock and unloading the car.

The ones we are doing are holding up as well. 3x stronger than stock sense our last adjustments in heat treat! They also come RIM Polished and CT Coated. Let me know if you guys need some and we will do a batch of ten and a group buy to get the price down to around $850.

Thanks,

Our new accelerator line of shafts have begun production.. time to delivery 4-5 weeks.
Be the first to get one and be the fastest 5 speed in your town.
Now taking deposits.. Price is $1800 this includes our exclusive longer first gear on our proven billet shaft. Our standard billet shaft was used in the two fastest 5 speed cars in the country. Our new first gear allows for you big turbo guys to stay in boost on the 1-2 shift and reduce your 60 times by 1 to 2 tenths. Overall ET reductions of 4 to 6 tenths on cars with full boost rpm of 4200 and higher will be the norm..

Sounds like a good setup Nemo, great idea on the first gear. Should make huge changes.
