My car did the same thing and it turned out to be the shift selector. But I pulled my tranny out and went ahead and put a DCR input shaft in.

I just had this happen to me. I had the stage 4 cm clutch and did a wot shift from 2nd to 3rd. My clutch was somewhat wore down so I just put a stock clutch back in it. Just so I have a weak point and dont have to do anything that expensive again. I am a big turbo setup too. 410 street tune, 515 race tune.

My car made no noise but did the same thing that one of these other guys did. Clutch felt fine, went into gear but would not go anywhere.

i think i broke my input shaft lasy night racing a svt cobra went from 2nd to thrid wot and third was liek i was in neutral worst thing is i was beating the shit out of him.

mods.

realtune manifold
e2 turbo
ported im and 62mm throttle body
full custom 3 in exhaust
tial 38mm wastegate @15psi
dtec
larger intercooler
stage 2
750cc injectors
custom fuel system
custom 2.5 intercooler piping

have not dynoed the car i was at the track ran 13.2 but that was mods ago

the car would start their was no noise of chattering and the shifter would go towards the neutral gat eon the driver side like somthign was in the way of it all the cables were hooked up and worked at the trans clutch is brand new act so im assuming its the input shaft what shafts ar eu guys putting in this.

Pretty sure I broke mine too. If I buy the shaft what do you all think an average price at a local tranny shop will be for labor??

let's see, when you do a clutch job on a conventional setup... clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and PILOT bearing. When you do a clutch on a stock setup, clutch pack and throwout bearing... clutch job I did on my buddy's SRT4, aluminum flywheel, performance clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing... no pilot bearing.

Just a thought

I thought I broke my input shaft, but I Broke the passenger side axel after looking under the car. Put in gear, one side moving (shakey) other side nothing. Glad I don't have to pull the tranny
