Nah it's cool.

I've had them all. In order:

ACT street clutch (lasted multiple passes with 23" slicks with Stage 2 and some of Stage 3)

DCR PS2 - Immediate fail at the track. Didn't hold on powershifts on the street either.

ACT 6 puck - Lasted a few passes with 24.5" slicks. Later turns out that the pressure plate was faulty. Design has since then been changed.

Southbend Stage 5x w/Fidanza Flywheel - Immediate fail at the track. Would hold on the street though or if I only granny shifted at the track.

Southbend Stage 4 Race Series - Immediate fail after install. Would not disengage all the way.

Clutchmasters FX400 6 puck - Been great so far. No problems at all.

do you think that with the new design that it will be a better clutch than the one you had? like i said earlier, this clutch is maybe 3-4 months old and only been on the car for two, so i assume it would be the new design. i have had it at the track but not with slicks and it held up very well, even with oil on it(long story). i mean, this clutch grips like a MF'r. i have been driving manuals for a while and i still stall out every once in a while with this clutch. my previous car was a pretty built up 01 Mustang Bullitt with 500+/500+ and the clutch i had on that didn't seem near as grabby/touchy on the start. maybe that is because of the difference in power

From what ive seen so far its a great clutch for the money. My buddy has the same exact clutch in his GSX 50t, and it holds up great especially with it being an AWD car too! Mine should be here tomorrow and will be installed sunday so we'll see.
