Question ATC street disk?

My stock clutch finally started slipping with my Stage 3 Toys + bold ons. I want another good daily clutch that will be able to withstand runs with slicks (I don't have slicks yet) from time to time.

Would the ATC street disk be good enough for that?

I would not run a street disc on slicks and Stage 3. It's going to slip. Get a 6 puck if you plan on putting slicks on it.

That's what I don't get. The XTSS for our car is rated at 558ft/lbs of torque. My stage 3 won't be even close to that.

How much torque do you put out?

It's not the rating of the clutch, it's how fast and down low in the power band the TD05 comes in at, especially with HOM on. I've gone through tons of clutches, all which had only slipped at the track with slicks on, and HOM on; WOT shifting all gears. This includes the old style ACT 6 puck, street disc, DCR PS2 (discontinued), SBC Stage 5x (Discontinued).

if you want this car for the street put the street disc in there. if you want the car for track only put a 6 puck in there. its not that hard to figure out they have a street clutch for a reason...possibly the street?

and the xtss is great to have, it would save your input shaft dearly. i run the act street clutch& xtss plate and have a dbb 30r and i have no problems. lol its common sense on here but from what ive seen theres alot of ppl on here that dont this car as well as they think and point some ppl in the wrong direction with things

lol at this idiot. I have an UNSPRUNG 6 puck in my 500+hp on pump daily driver. Maybe I should have left the stock clutch in since I drive it on the street. pftt

And if you hook on drag radials with a big turbo setup, you need some help cuz your shits weak sauce.
